Comment: Pottawattamie County. This is a bridge reconstruction project. The north bound bridge is being constructed. This is at approximate mile marker 66. The south bound lanes will be head-to-head traffic The north bound entrance ramp at Exit 66 will be closed during the bridge construction. The north bound exit ramp at Exit 66 will remain open. Comment: Harrison County. The north bound and south bound bridges are being reconstructed approximately one half at a time. Traffic will be maintained through the construction zones in both the north bound and south bound lanes. Traffic will be channelized through the bridge areas with the use of temporary concrete barrier rails. Other traffic control devices will be in use through the construction zone. The regulatory speed through the construction zone will be 55 miles per hour. The Council Bluffs Resident Construction Engineer will administer this project. Phone 1-800-579-2719.
